The newly formed Discobelle Records has been a force to be reckoned with lately. For example, take this new Turned on Volume 1 compilation they recently out, it’s 17 unmixed bangers by artists like Crookers, Brodinski, Radioclit, Nadastrom, Mikix The Cat, Schlachthofbronx and Savage Skulls; all tastefully compiled by DJ Neoteric.
There’s a plethora of great tracks on this comp, but the stand-out is “Cannibalistic” by Expendable Youth, a DJ/ production duo out of Vancouver. To help push the release and spread some expendable love, we’ve got “Cannibalistic” remixes from Samo Sound Boys and LOL Boys. Pick up Turned onand keep an eye out for Expendable Youth on the next run of our Mini Mix Series.
Back with the second installment of our Mini Mix Series, we’ve called upon Hot Biscuits regular; Dubbel Dutch. I swear, sometimes it feels like we’re posting this guys stuff every other week, and for good reason too, it’s because he’s really really really good at what he does. The Palms Out Sounds artist sets fire (in a good way) to every production he touches, and this mix is no exception. In fact, Dutch has a 3-track release set to come out this May that’s been getting heavy praise by a handful of names that you’re very familiar with, you’d be cheating yourself to not learn about it. Do so here.
That’s all I got, plug in your headphones and lock in while Dub and Markus murder your shit.

For all the people who love indie rock, these dudes by the name of Vampire Weekend (you may have heard of them) are releasing their second LP called Contra on January 12th (US). Being a fan of Vampire’s production, we (LOL Boys) decided to take the track “Giving Up The Gun” and make a bootleg jam out of it.
In doing so, the end result was a bit less of the Paul Simon sounding vocals and an extra slice of drums on the side. If you’re a DJ then this track should please most of your indie loving fans, if you’re not a DJ you’ll still enjoy the tropical vacation that this remix will take you on.
Sometimes, you just want to dance the night away. For most of us this involves a few drinks, a few friends and maybe a snazzy outfit. The pieces to the puzzle may vary, but the underlying foundation is always the same; music. Well, what we have for you is a tune you can’t help but dance to, heavily influenced by the sounds of Chicago House and French House, “Arabesque” is a sure fire way to keep the night moving. Enjoy!
Just so you know, I hate using this blog as a promotional vehicle for my own music. However, our (LOL Boys) remix of Christina Milian “Chameleon” has been making an appearance on few DJs charts, so a post is fitting. We took the original and hyped it up with some more drums, an air horn and faster tempo. The orginal is great but probably unplayable in a club situation. This is a must have for any fans of the “new time” sound like Kingdom, Dubbel Dutch, and Roska.
The peeps at Nightshifters were kind enough to give us a free EP for Halloween and it definitely falls into the “treat” category. This is a perfect example of how Nightshifters is running the game right now by being a badass label but not letting that get to their heads. They stay grounded and appease their fans with treats like this EP.
The focus of the EP is a track from Japanese producer DJ Polstyle called “Vampire Killah.” It’s a sure fire club hit full of vocal yelps and organ stabs. The track then comes with four super dope remixes from DJ Donna Summers, Rob Threezy, Trumpdisco, and LOL Boys. I can’t tell you my favorite remix because I am biased. So, download them all, jam out and keep an eye on Nightshifters because they are releasing a new ep from Hostage soon.
All tracks posted are for promotional use only. If you enjoy the music you find here, please go and buy it. If you like, you could also send a basket of fruit to the artist in question.
