Hi, November

Découverte, Musique Par: Beats™ No Comments »

Let’s just get back to good tunes. Old or new.

Breakbot – Penelope Pitstop (old + inspired by OCD Automatic)
Chromeo – Night by Night (Siriusmo Remix) (I saw Chromeo this weekend. Incredibly fun show)
Delphic – This Momentary (Radioproof Remix) (sounds like a tight video game, kind of)
Dmitry Fyodorov – Coconut Office (dark, minimal, tech-house. Beautiful)
Feist – Sea Lion (Chromeo Remix) (old + inspired by Kid Color)
Heritage Orchestra + DJ Yoda – Concerto for Turntables (Radioproof X (II) Remix) (buy this now)
LCD Soundsystem – Time To Get Away (Gucci Soundsystem Remix) (old + inspired by Kid Color)
Plej – You (I found this while cruising the Chill Out section on Beatport)
Solid Gold – Matter Of Time (I’ve been loving Solid Gold since here. Not much has changed)
Wolf Gang – The King And All Of His Men (adding Wolf Gang to the list of bands I heart)

Night By Tremulance

Découverte, Musique Par: Beats™ No Comments »

The Tremulance has been on a solid run of remixes in 2009. From his rework of Empire of The Sun to the freshly revived Phoenix, dude has been capitalizing on this years slew of fresh singles. I guess it’s only appropriate that he touched Chromeo’s new “Night By Night.”

SPEAKING OF CHROMEO, if you’re in Chicago this Halloween then you’ll be lucky enough to catch them along with Crystal Castles and Boys Noize as well as local talent like Rob Threezy and Kid Color at The Congress Theatre. Pick up your early bird tickets here if you’re down to party.
