Honestly, I couldn’t think of anything more appropriate than Michael Jackson when it comes to posting the last track of 2009. Massive remix of Scream by Hungarian producer Unpopular Scenes (formerly known as Slamer, I featured some of his remixes). Watch out, SebastiAn.
I’m DJing at a huge NYE party in Austria tonight, gonna drop this one for sure!

Get Flavor, a brand new label out of France, has finally released their first bit of goodness! Their first release is a touch of Kuduro (see Buraka Som Sistema) flavored party tracks from producer/DJ Dakunt. This K-Danca EP isn’t just more faceless tourist music, it’s well-polished, full on party tunes. With recommendations from the likes of Sam Tiba, Canblaster, Richi Romero, Raziek, and Zombie Disco Squad, “K-Danca” is something to get excited about. Get Flavor were already kind enough to break us off with a bunch of promo mp3s, but be sure to pick up full quality versions over at iTunes, Juno, Track It Down, etc.

Riton and Primary 1 have teamed up once again for another awesome track. Their first track “Who’s There” created huge hype and was delivered with a magnificent remix package including Style of Eye, In Flagranti, L-Vis 1990, and Doorly. Their new track “Radiates” is yet another insanely hot track although I would recommend this one for home listening opposed to playing it in the club. This track comes with a Riton and Primary 1 Re-Rub and an amazing Joker Remix. Enjoy!

To be honest, I’m still proud of the fact that I was the first blogger to discover Mr. Nô back in April. Since then, he’s been doing quite well, receiving lots of blog love and playing shows with the biggest names in the French electro scene. At the moment, he’s busy working on an EP that will be released in spring 2010, but he still has time to do some remixes: Here’s his latest work, a remix for Sourya, a pop band from Paris. Those of you who have been following Mr. Nô’s musical career from the beginning might be a bit surprised, as this remix certainly differs from his usual sound. I like.

Rather than dwell on how sorry I am that we’ve abandoned our beloved blog for so long, I am going to attribute that abandonment to what is best called a shift in interests, and move on. We thought that the perfect way to get back in the game was to come back with a bang, a.k.a. a nice big end of the year, best of post. Unfortunately we didn’t give ourselves too much time to make this idea a reality, so we don’t have anything written about the music, but we would hope that our choices speak for themselves.
